The Miracle Challenge, day #19

In cribbage, 19 means nothing.  More specifically, it’s a score that is impossible to get.  So a big cribbage joke is that when you don’t have any points in your hand, you say that you scored “19”.  Yep, cribbage players are a pretty humorous bunch.  🙂

Anyway, here we are day #19 and it definitely means SOMETHING!!!  It means that we’ve spent 19 days focusing on an intention and seeing how it manifests in our lives.  We’ve been witnessing miracles.  And that there are only 11 more days to go!!!

Have a great day and I’m looking forward to hearing all about your miracles!

Fell off the challenge wagon for the weekend. But that doesn’t mean I wasn’t still participating, just not posting. Indeed, I spent my weekend practicing mindfulness. So much so, that I decided (at the last minute on Fri eve) to take a tech break for the weekend. Many miracles showed up.
    1) A much-needed THREE hour (yes, 3 whole hours!) phone call with my mom on Saturday. I was very present during the conversation and relished every bit of it. What was three hours felt like 30 minutes. Ahhhhhhh!
    2) Listening to my Goddess Voice and doing what she said! She said find a book to read and I did. Devoured it! She said take a nap and I did. She said take a walk during the rain break, I did. She said get groceries and cook all your favorite soups. You guessed it, I DID! She was so very happy and content by Sunday evening. Today was a most fabulous Monday because I listened to her and took care of myself this weekend.
***For anyone wondering, I had no kids or husband around this weekend!***

Over the weekend I had a somewhat startling realization – if I am a bit more diligent about bringing in website build and maintenance work and if the project I mentioned in the post http://www.themiraclejournal.com/2011/09/21/producer-vs-stage-manager/ comes through, I could potentially make a SIGNIFICANT change in my debt situation. I could maybe pay off as much as half in a year. The next miracle will be helping myself to remember that I’m capable and worthy of making that happen. 🙂
