A few days after Mr. Blue Eyes and I broke up, my friend Becky sent me a link to a TED video and told me that she thought I’d get a lot out of it. I wanted to watch it because I trust Becky’s opinion and because I generally really love the TED talks.
So, of course, I didn’t watch it.
This morning, I got an email from a Miracle Journal reader with a link to… the same TED talk.
Even I couldn’t ignore that. So I watched.
And most importantly, she’s talking about the strength and power it takes to allow ourselves to stand in vulnerability. Even when it’s scary, which it almost always is.
This is Brene Brown speaking about THE POWER OF VULNERABILITY:
“To feel this vulnerable means I am alive.” Indeed.
