A new lease on…everything

You Are Not Alone : Stories from the front lines of womanhood

Once again, I am surprised at how long it has been since I’ve met you here on The Miracle Journal.  These last nine months have been anything but predictable.  But that unpredictability has, in its own way, worked very much in my favor.

Is it fear or is it boredom?

thetruthofwhoiam

Earlier this year I had the opportunity to submit a book proposal to Hay House, the biggest publisher in the personal development industry. If you have been reading for a while, you’ll remember that I chronicled that experience here on the Journal and over on Facebook.  I was incredibly blessed to have so much support …

Two miracles for the price of one

allenklein

bookcover

It took me two years to write my first book.

Thanks to The Miracle Journal, it took me two days to write my second book.

I’m guessing that there might be a pleasant middle ground in there somewhere, but for the moment I’m happy.

More details to come…

What feeds you?

I found this at rubmint.com. Hilarious!!!

I was on the phone with a friend tonight talking about writing and publishing and I heard a really interesting sentence come out of my own mouth: “Writing the Journal has been great because I feel like it’s feeding me rather than me feeding it.”

That’s so true!  There have been so many things in …

The miracle of spinning wheels…or not

This is the picture the editor wanted. Unfortunately for him, this is a photo I grabbed off a stock photo site.

It snowed today.  A lot.  No April Fools.  Just a whole bunch of heavy, wet snow.

I contemplated not going into the newspaper, but I was pretty sure that if I drove slowly enough I’d be fine.  The first half of the drive it was clear sailing – no problem.  The second half was kind …
