With this ring…

This weekend I had an adventure that I thought would be very solemn and meditative, but ended up being hysterically funny in the best possible way.  And I came out of it with a ring.  But perhaps I should back up a bit and tell you the story from the beginning…

The labyrinth

Not a great picture of either Evie or me, but gosh I'm glad to have it.

The most beautiful labyrinth I’ve ever seen is in Hardwick, Vermont, on the grounds of Hardwick Chiropractic.

The first time I visited this labyrinth was about 10 years ago with my mother and Evie Spodnik. The three of us spent a wonderful afternoon there that lives very clearly in my memory.
